I was just chillin on the pooper one day thinking about how I could make my car faster than Evan’s, when I thought about trying to get pure oxygen into the motor, but couldn’t think of any way to get my hands on pure oxygen so the thought actually came to mind to do a grab and run on one of those oxygen tanks old people wheel around, but then I thought of the attempted murder charges that would come with it and that Idea got shot down. Then I was thinking about intercoolers and the CRYo2 kits they sell that just freeze you’re I/C and the air that goes through it and that’s expensive stuff. Then the thought of dry ice, that’s really cold and will last for a good hour or two, I mean it might sound stupid but it makes sense to me that if you put some ice that’s -109.3°F on your I/C it will decrease intake temp a little, making the air denser and more can compact into less space burning more fuel thus increasing performance. I’m sure its been tried before and maybe it doesn’t work but It sounds logical to a simple minded person like myself.

Thanks,

Aaron

if its just for cooling purposes do it right and get methonal injection kit or bigger front mount i couldnt do the dry ice thing my main concern would be water condensing in the intake tract on humid days since that is DAMN COLD and if the air is too dense it can lean out the motor which is no good either and dry ice is c02 and i want all the o2 i can get

Yea but meth is like 600 bucks or more and you can just get a box of dry ice for like 20 bucks soooo yea... i think they just meant to rest the dry ice on the TMIC not in the intake itself. its like a cheap alternative to a chiller kit.

For those of you who have intercooler sprayers you can add half water half alcohol to your intercooler sprayer tank to drop your intake temp a few degrees. In Dyno tests it has proven to increase hp by up to 30. not bad for a cheap and practically efortless mod. For racing you can also add ice to your intercooler spray tank to make it even colder. Of course this is only good untill the ice melts. Some people do not think the alcohol works but try this. Put some water on your hand and blow on your hand. What happens? Mostly nothing right? Now put some alcohol and your hand and blow. What happened this time? It felt really cold didn't it?

You need a helmet if you run under 14 but we have 3 helmets and we can take turns.
